Mayor of Lyon Gérard Collomb paid tribute to Armenian Genocide victims, Lyone Capitale reported.

Commemoration event was held at Antonin Ponce Square, at the memorial to the Armenian Genocide where the Armenian community representatives laid wreathes.

The memorial opened 10 years ago, in 2006, it consists of 36 concrete columns with the lines of the poems of the poet and writer Kostan Zaryan.
