YEREVAN. - Azerbaijan has to return to the negotiation table, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said in the parliament Wednesday.

According to him, Azerbaijan has failed in its attempt to win over the negotiations.  It’s well-known that the main documents of the conflict settlement are the five statements of the heads of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries, which Azerbaijan doesn’t want to refer to, pretending that it cannot understand what the question is. Or it presents the documents of working nature in a distorted way, the FM said.

It is also said that no working documents have been presented by the OSCE Minsk Group since 2009. Therefore, it only remains to be guessed what was discussed at the level of ministers, with the Azerbaijani President, as well as at different summits. What did the FMs discuss and finally what did the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs confer on during their visits to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Karabakh?

The words of the Azerbaijani side apparently don’t correspond to reality, and seeing that they can’t win over the talks, the Azeris tried to achieve something in the military sphere, but again useless.

“They will have to return to the talks. There is no conflict or war, following which the sides do not return to the negotiation table to find decisions,” the Nalbandian said.
