STEPANAKERT. – The adversary not only continues shelling the peaceful Karabakh settlements with its provocative actions, but, consistent with its habit, attempts to present the events the other way round and accuse the Karabakh side of attacking Azerbaijani settlements.   

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army has issued a respective statement.

“In the release disseminated earlier today [i.e. Thursday], we had noted about Mataghis [village] settlement’s shelling by the Azerbaijani armed forces,” the statement reads and continues: “The Karabakh side, remaining true to the language of facts’ tactics it has adopted, presents the video of Mataghis settlement’s shelling by the adversary, in the early morning [hours] of [Thursday,] April 28.”
