The brother of the terrorist from San Bernardino, his wife - a citizen of Russia - and her sister refused to plead guilty to charges of conspiracy , contracting a fake marriage, and making false statements.

The Riverside judge set bail at $ 25.000 for Syed Farooq Rakhilya, $ 35.000 for his wife Tatiana Farooq, and $ 50.000 for her sister Mary Black . In the evening, two of the defendants were released, Lenta reports. On April 28 the FBI agents arrested three people accused of signing a sham marriage, creating a criminal association, and giving false testimonies.

Black is accused of contracting a sham marriage with Enrique Marquez, who is suspected of involvement in the terrorist attack in San Bernardino . Marquez got the money to marry Black. He got married to  legalize his status in the United States . When the investigators were  interrogating his fake wife , she claimed that she was living together with Marquez , although her house was in Ontario.

The husband Farouk Tatiana, Syed Rahil Farooq, was also arrested. He is a brother of the terrorist who attacked the conference hall in San Bernardino . Due to the shooting attack by Syed Rizwan Farooq and his wife Tashfin Malik in San Bernardino on December 2 of 2015, 14 people were killed  and 21  injured . The police killed the attackers during the skirmish.
