At least 21 people died in the wreck of a small ship off the coast of Haiti, said Haiti civil defense employees. According to EFE, the incident took place over the weekend. The ship, heading from Bombardopolis to Gonaives in the northern part of Haiti, wrecked due to a strong storm, reported RIA Novosti. At present the number of people on board is unknown.
It is reported that there are some passengers who survived. The search for survivors as well as for the dead continues.
