YEREVAN. – In our days, progress in any domain of state-run, private, and social activities is unimaginable without information and communications technology, Minister of Economy of Armenia Artsvik Minasyan said at a conference on Wednesday.
He added that the development of a respective infrastructure, establishment of an information society, and active involvement in the global information industry is among the primary objectives of Armenia.
In Minasyan’s words, today information technology plays a huge role in military industry.
“The Government [of Armenia] (…) has created new prerequisites toward ensuring information technology and high-tech solutions in Armenia,” he added.
Artsvik Minasyan noted that the Armenian government successfully implements numerous respective projects with the private sector.
