YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with the members of the Public Council of Armenia Wednesday.

At the meeting, Sargsyan responded to the questions of the Council, as well as listened to their proposals and views on the matters of concern to the public. 

The questions addressed to the President concerned the events on the Line of Contact in early April, the actions of the Armenian army, Armenia-Artsakh-Disapora unity, domestic and foreign policy, as well as prospects for talks round Nagorno-Karabakh and unity of pan-Armenian potential.  

The meeting participants agreed that it is necessary to unite round nationwide tasks.

The expectations of the state from scientific, public and political circles, as well as Public Council in terms of full use of potential were discussed.

“Let no one doubt that we will achieve all the goals set with confident steps. We won in the beginning of April, and our victory was thanks to the united will and faith. Our victories will continue, and in all spheres. I expect from the Public Council to contribute to the ensurance of [our] further victories,” the President said.

In his words, when we are united and self-confident, nobody can harm us. “And today we are united and self-confident,” Sargsyan stressed.
