Berlin is concerned over the signs of new escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh, official representative of the German Foreign Ministry said.
The German side is greatly concerned over the evidence pointing to the new escalation on the contact line between the conflicting parties, Martin Schaefer said.
“As a country chairing the OSCE, we strongly urge both parties to take all steps to avoid a new escalation,” he added.
He added that Berlin supports the work of the OSCE Minsk Group and its three co-chairs "in their efforts to continue working to resolve the conflict, RIA Novosti reported.
