Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I opened national Armenian lyceum in Abu Dhabi. The school will be located in St. Martyrs church.
Minister of Culture and scientific development of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Catholicosal Vicar Mesrob Sargsyan, a number of government officials of the United Arab Emirates, foreign diplomats, residents took part in the ceremony, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports quoting the representative of the Catholicosate.
In his remarks Minister Al Nahyan stressed the importance of the contribution of the Armenian community to the development of UAE and congratulated the community with a new educational institution.
