STEPANAKERT. – The relatively calm situation, which was established a day earlier along Line of Contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces, was maintained from late Thursday night to early Friday morning.
The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, during this time, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the arrangement to cease fire primarily by way of rifle weaponry; but they also used sniper rifles in several directions.
“[But] the DA vanguard units maintained the arrangement to cease fire, and continued confidently conducting [their] military watch,” the respective statement reads.
