YEREVAN. – Territorial integrity cannot be opposed to the right of people to self-determination, Armenian official said in response to the statement by PACE President.

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan commented for Armenpress on the remarks made by PACE President  Pedro Agramunt who said all the conflicts have to be resolved within the territorial integrity of the countrie.

“It would be preferable if an international official of that level was acquainted with the fundamental document of the international law – the UN Charter, according to which the territorial integrity cannot be opposed to the right of people to self-determination,” Kocharyan said.
