Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan visted hail-damaged Tandzut, Arevik, Yeghegnut and Artashar communities of Armenia’s Armavir province Tuesday.

The PM headed for the fields beaten down by hail, got familiarized with the damage caused by the hail, talked to the villagers and listened to their concerns regarding the formed situation. The PM instructed to install additional anti-hail stations in the province as soon as possible.

Resopnding to the villager’s request, Abrahamyan promised to discuss with the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) the issue of extending the extinguishment period of loans of the rural farmsteads affected by hail.

The PM also responded to a number of questions of interest to the residents. They specifically discussed the process of agricultural activities, procurement organization and community infrastructures, etc.
