YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper has learned that Armenian specialists, who—as a result of the four-day war which Azerbaijan had unleashed in early April—are engaged in creating systems that neutralize drones, have achieved significant progress.

It is assumed that such devices will soon be manufactured, and their practical tests will start.

This fact is important because, as a result of the four-day war, it was proved that the only problem for the Armenian armed forces is the fact that the adversary—i.e. Azerbaijan—used drones.

Zhoghovurd tried to get a comment from Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Defense of Armenia, regarding the creating of systems that destroy drones.

“This segment, these matters have always been at the focus of the Ministry of Defense,” he said in response. “[But] this is a domain where successes can never be considered final; you need to work towards new achievements.”
