YEREVAN. – Armenia will join the agreement on exchange of information regarding accidents in the electrical energy facilities of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries.
The respective decision was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Government of Armenia.
The said agreement specifies the procedure for exchange of information on the aforesaid accidents, including those across borders.
Areg Galstyan, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia, informed that this will enable to better organize the corresponding emergency work, if needed.
