YEREVAN. - The Madrid Principles on Karabakh conflict settlement remain on the agenda, Armenian Deputy FM Garen Nazarian told journalists in the parliament Thursday.

“The meeting in Vienna discussed what we had already announced. And I wouldn’t like to make additional judgments at this important point now.

We must all create a climate for the implementation of these agreements.

I don’t want to predict the actions of the Armenian side if Azerbaijan doesn’t fulfill its obligations.  Time will come and the FM will publicly speak about this.

As far as I know, there is a precise agreement which the sides have reached. It’s another matter that Azerbaijan is trying to back down and pretend it doesn’t exist. But they have been reached and everything should be done to implement them. This also concerns the investigative mechanisms and expansion of the office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

Armenia and the [OSCE Minsk Group] Co-Chairs are doing their best to implement the reached agreements; the FM stated about this recently,” Nazarian said.
