The Chinese authorities intend to launch five new satellites in the framework of the space science program within five years, Xinhua reported.
Director of the National Space Science Center (NSSC) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences Wu Ji stated that the five satellites, including a Sino-European joint mission, will be engaged in studying of influence of solar activity on the Earth and will carry out the analysis of water recycling and probe of black holes.
Wu Ji also told about expectation of major breakthroughs in these fields.
In the middle of May China has successfully launched remote sensing satellite. At the beginning of April China launched nto the orbit the returned satellite.
