In the southeast of Niger, Boko Haram militants killed several soldiers and robbed weapons, reports Reuters. According to military agencies the attack took place during a ministerial visit. 7 policemen were killed in the crossfire, other 12 were injured. None of the ministers was injured. The incident occurred in the area where the country accepts refugees who had fled from their homes due to the terrorist actions of Islamist groups . In early June, Chad sent two thousand soldiers to the  neighboring Niger to fight against Boko Haram militants .
