Musicians of the world-famous rock band U2 urged the people of Northern Ireland to vote for the preservation of the UK's membership of the EU at the upcoming referendum on June 23. The corresponding statement is published on the official website of the Irish group on the Instagram.
Musicians accompanied the appeal with a short video in support of campaign for the United Kingdom being a part of the EU.
"Together we have built bridges, let's not create borders. Brexit will impact relations between Northern Ireland, Ireland and Britain. Support progress - vote remain on June 23rd ", they say in a video.
“Europe without Britain seems unimaginable to us. Bono, Edge, Adam, Larry” U2 wrote, The Irish Times reported.
