The Canadian architects have developed a project of a mobile hotel with rooms moving in space with the help of drones.
The project entitled Driftscape was the finalist of the Radical Innovation Prize , which is awarded for the best ideas in the field of hotel designs , reports to Lenta referring to Express.co.uk. Rooms are suggested to be made of glass to provide guests with all-around looking of the environment.
It is expected that a Driftscape hotel will consist of 10-15 flying rooms and a central core accommodating the lobby, sitting area, and a restaurant. Guests can participate in excursions staying in their rooms. It will be the drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, that will be managing the movement of rooms in the space.
