British monarch Queen Elizabeth II quipped "I'm still alive" when she was asked about her health, The Straits Times reported.

The dry remark sounded in the background of the results of the referendum on Brexit, after the pound hit a 30-year-low, and England defeated by Iceland in a shock football rout.

When the Queen arrived to Northern Ireland with two-day visit Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness welcomed the Queen with the words: "Hello, are you well?"

"I'm still alive anyway. Ha," Queen Elizabeth II answered.

It should be mentioned that the referendum on the Brexit was held in the UK on June 23. According to the official data, 51,9%  (17,41 million people) voted for Brexit. British PM decided to resign until fall. The new Conservative leader and Prime Minister will be elected by September 2.

Elizabeth II ascended to the throne on February 6, 1952. The 90-year-old queen is the most long ruling monarch for all history of the UK.
