At least five people were killed and 20 more were injured after a man went into a café and opened fire with an automatic weapon, New York Times reported.

It is noted, that the incident occurred in a village close to the town of Zrenjanin, in northern Serbia.

The suspect reportedly shot his wife and another woman at first and then fire at casual visitors of the cafe. The man was detained.
