Today, on July 6 the Upper Lars road, at 3: 30 pm has been open for a two-sided traffic, reports the NEWS.am based on the information provided by the Crisis Management Center under the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. The road will be open until 8 : 00 pm. According to the Georgian sources, the Upper Lars will be open tomorrow morning at 05: 30 am to 08: 00 pm. The road is open for all types of vehicles provided that the following rules will be observed:
- counter traffic simultaneously on both lanes is banned
- no stops are allowed during driving
- driving is not allowed in case of heavy precipitation.
The implementation of the traffic rules will be under the direct supervision of the police patrol .
As reported earlier, the Upper Lars checkpoint was closed on June 23.
