YEREVAN. – The sources of Hraparak newspaper inform that Russia is having a hard time coping with Armenia-West relations, the balanced relations with NATO, the minimal field of maneuver which Armenia is trying to have; including Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s attendance to the recent NATO summit, with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s absence, where especially matters related to Russia were discussed, wrote the newspaper.

“By the way, the Russia-NATO meeting (…) will kick off today [i.e. Tuesday]. There are ‘expectations’ from Russia, regarding Armenia. The thing is that every time when Russia ‘does not like’ Armenia, it begins to apply major undeclared sanctions against its strategic partner.

‘“Now, we need to grasp what is in Russia’s mind this time, after the high[-level] meetings with [US Secretary of State John] Kerry and [French President François] Hollande,’ said our senior interlocutor,” wrote Hraparak.
