The terrorist organization Islamic State declared that a 17-year-old Afghan youg man who attacked passengers with an axe in a train in Germany was the member of ISIS, NY Times reported.

Thus, the organization claimed responsibility for organization of the attack.

Earlier it was reported that during a search of his home the ISIS flag was found.

The day before, near the city of Würzburg, a man attacked passengers of the train with an axe. As a result of attack 14 people were injured. The attacker was killed.
