YEREVAN. – At the request of the Armenian side, the Iranian side has already started, as of Wednesday, the additional natural gas supply to the Republic of Armenia (RA), in connection with the ongoing repair work on the major gas pipeline in Georgia, according to Hraparak newspaper.

“Heretofore working talks were being held with the Iranian side regarding this and several other matters.

“And on July 25, according to our information, RA Minister of Energy [and Natural Resources] Levon Yolyan will visit Iran to discuss bilateral issues as well as on a familiarization visit.

“When asked whether the added volume of Iranian gas will be supplied [to Armenia] for solely one month [when the said repair work is expected to be completed within], or after that, too, it was said: [for] one month for now,” wrote Hraparak.
