U.S. will not need years for an extradition of the ideologist of Gulen movement,  Turkish FM Mevlut Cavuşoğlu told TRT Haber.

According to him, Washington has suggested Ankara to create a joint commission on the issue of extradition of Gulen. Ankara is ready to accept this offer, but foreign minister noted that the U.S.  should extradite Gulen as soon as possible, otherwise there will be tension in the relations of two allies. Cavusoglu believes that if they want to tighten an extradition issue, it may take years, but if they want the issue can be resolved quickly.

Turkish authorities accuse Gulen, who was living last 17 years in the U.S., of masterminding an attempted coup in Turkey on July 15, and demand his extradition. The U.S. demands strong evidences, while Gulen himself dismissed accusations.
