“We love Armenians and consider them as important part of our community,” said the UAE Finance Minister Yunis Haji Al- Khouri, On July 22, during a press conference in Yerevan, after the signing an agreement with Armenia on mutual investment in protection.

The Armenian community has been functioning in the Emirates since the 1970s. Recently, the second Armenian church was established this time in Abu Dhabi. The Crown  Prince  of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed al – Nahyan allocated a special area for the construction of the church .

Armenians work in various fields in the UAE. According to the depute minister, several community representatives hold high positions in the banks as well.
