YEREVAN. – More than 200 hours have passed since a group of armed men calling themselves “Sasna Tsrer” stormed into a capital city Yerevan police station, and took several police officers hostage in Armenia.

The night on Khorenatsi Street was calm with no clashes or incidents.

Politicians, actors and political scientists addressed hundreds of people who gathered in Khorentasi Street on Sunday evening.

Meanwhile it became known that a police car was set on fire in the area of Yerevan police regiment. Member of the Founding Parlimanert Alek Yenigomshyan said it was done as a sign of protest because the armed group was deprived of food, medical assistance and electricity. However, the talks with the authorities continue, he assured.
