Tonight due to the shootout between the police officers at the Police Patrol Regiment and the Sasna Tsrer armed group, two injured from Sasna Tsrer were taken to Erebuni medical center. The Ministry of Health confirmed that information for NEWS.am. As the Health Ministry told NEWS.am, the injured members have been operated on and are currently at the intensive care unit. Their lives are not in danger.

Earlier the NEWS.am reported that a shootout took place between the police and the members of Sasna Tsrer armed group . At around 01:00 am a police car of VAZ brand  drove outside the regiment and moved in direction of Erebuni Police Department: towards the police cordon. The police officers opened a fire on the car's engine to stop the car. The car swerved left, after which the police officers opened a fire on the tires of the car. The men in the car fired back the shots. Due to the shooting , two members of Sasna Tsrer  in the car were injured in their feet and retreated to the regiment.

The police immediately called on an ambulance and suggested the injured to be moved to the hospital. Currently, there are two injured, Ashot Petrosyan and Hovhannes Harutyunyan in the hospital.

The Founding Parliament, in its turn, said that the police cordon  opened a fire due to which the Sasna Tserer members Ashot Petrosyan and Hovhannes Harutyunyan got injured in their feet.
