The parliament of Abkhazia dismissed the Attorney-General Alexey Lomiya, Apsnypress reported.

Abkhazpresident's representative in parliament Dmitry Shamba stated that in accordance with the Constitution and Article 12 of the Law about Prosecutor's Office, the Attorney General is appointed and dismissed by the parliament on the proposal of the President of Abkhazia. President appealed to the People's Assembly with the corresponding representation yesterday.

It is noted that the resignation was approved in the absence of Lomiya.
