Kurdish rebels organized attack on the Turkish soldiers who were carrying out an inspection on roads in Hakkari province in the southeast of Turkey, The Daily Star reported.

Kurdish rebels from Kurdistan Workers' Party attacked soldiers stopping vehicles in Hakkari province on the road near Cukurca.

As a result of the attack, eight Turkish soldiers are killed, 25 are wounded.
