YEREVAN. - There is a bruise under the removed eve of Sayat Harutyunyan, 17-year-old youth injured during clashes in Yerevan’s Sari Tagh district on July 29. This suggests that the young man suffered injuries not only as a result of a blast, but also due to a direct blow in his eye, Sayat’s relatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
“Such bruises appear only after a blow. Sayat says his eye was wounded as a result of a blow at the moment when he was going down the stairs, but the doctor says that no fragments were found in his eye,” Sayat’s uncle, Karo Harutyunyan said.
In his words, Sayat’s leg has also been injured as a result of the policemen’s actions. The 17-year-old young man is continuing his treatment in the intense care unit of Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.
Sayat Harutyunyan is from Vardenis town of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province. He had come to Yerevan to visit his sisters.
