YEREVAN. – Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku on Wednesday paid a visit to the civilian from Armenia, who was detained in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, an exclave of Azerbaijan.

The ICRC delegation in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan informed about the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the visit, this person was informed that he can send letters to his relatives by way of the Red Cross.

As reported earlier, Henrik Aghekyan, 61, a resident of Aygepat village in the Ararat Province of Armenia, had crossed the border and found himself on the Azerbaijani side.

Aghekyan has mental disorders, and he often went missing from home. This time he had left his house a week ago and had not returned.
