YEREVAN. - The operation of Sasna Tsrer armed group member Pavlik Manukyan has ended, his attorney Inessa Petrosyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am on Friday.
The attorney hadn’t yet visited him and could thus tell no details on his health condition.
Pavlik Manukyan underwent an operation in the Prisoners’ Hospital.
He faces charges under Article 219.3 (Occupation of buildings, facilities) and 235 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices.) of the Armenian Criminal Code. Manukyan and his son Aram sustained gunshot injuries during the shootout in the area of the Erebuni police station.
