The number of tourists arriving in the UK one month after the referendum on exiting the EU increased by 18%, reports the Trevelmole with a reference to the Tourism Alliance survey. A study conducted among 500 representatives of the tourism market has shown that weakening of the pound contributed to increasing travelling within the UK among the Brits and foreign  tourists. However, the Director of the Tourism Alliance Kurt Janson noted that such a growth is likely to be short-term. Therefore, investors are unconfident about the future of local tourism.
