Scientists at the University of Warsaw (Poland) have created the world’s first robot which is only a few centimeters in length, and which can quite quickly reproduce the movements of a caterpillar.

The robot is made of soft materials, and it is so small that it can be placed on a finger tip.

Despite its small size, however, the robot can move weight ten times heavier than it own.

Soft plastic materials compose the base frame of this robot.

But its developers do not yet reveal the details of the technology behind this robot, according to Hi-News.ru.
