Amazon wants to launch a music subscription service that would work the same way services from Apple, Spotify and many others work, Recode reported.

The product must compete with Apple Music and Spotify. The subscription price will make $4-5 a month.

Besides, Amazon is also working on a second service that would differ in two significant ways from industry rivals: it would cost half the price, and it would only work on Amazon’s Echo hardware.

According to the edition, Amazon wants to launch both projects in September. Currently, the company is in the stage of signing deals with major music labels and publishers.

Amazon did not comment on this information.
