YEREVAN. - The Appellate Court has adjourned the consideration of the motion by the attorney of activist Artur Sargsyan, who delivered food to the members of the Sasna Tsrer group, which had seized the Erebuni police station.

The attorney, Tigran Yegoryan, told journalists that the hearing was extended due to the absence of the prosecutor. ''The court found out that Artur Sargsyan didn't take part in the seizure of the police station. Then new charges related to supporting the seizure were brought against him. But once the charges have changed, the grounds for the arrest have disappeared,'' he noted.

The next hearing will be held on August 25.

On July 26, Sargsyan broke through the police cordon on his car to deliver food to the members of the armed group.
