YEREVAN. – The draft legal act on declaring amnesty on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence will be ready by the end of this month and be forwarded to law enforcement agencies, for their suggestions and comments, according to Zhoghovurd newspaper.

“As is known, the amnesty drafts, as a rule, are developed at the presidential seat, and its text is kept secret until it is sent to parliament.

“According to the Zhoghovurd daily’s information, the amnesty, which is expected in connection with [the] Independence Day [25th anniversary], will be more comprehensive than the previous ones,” wrote Zhoghovurd.
