Armenian National Team forward David Arshakyan was waiting for a U.S. visa in st. Petersburg during the recent days. After being issued the visa, he left for Chicago, where he will play in the local Chicago Fire Club.

In an interview with Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent, the footballer told when his debut will take place and whether he will manage to join the upcoming two matches of Armenia.

“My debut will most likely take place on August 28 in the match against D.C. United. In a day – on August 29 – I will join the Armenian team in the Czech Republic, and then we will fly to Denmark. At the moment, I don’t know whether I’ll manage to join the match of the Armenian youth football team to be held in Yerevan on September 6.  Everything will be clear after the match of the national squad.

On August 31, the Armenian team will play a friendly against the Czech team in Městský stadium of Mladá Bolselav city. On September 4, the 2018 World Cup qualification match Denmark vs. Armenia will take place in Parken stadium of Copenhagen.

On September 6, the Armenia vs. Bulgaria qualifier of 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will take place in Yerevan’s Avan Football Academy at 7:00 pm Yerevan time.
