Reports of a shooting incident at Los Angeles  airport have not been confirmed, police spokesman tweeted, NBC News reported.

"Reports of a shooting incident at LAX have been proven to be loud noises only," the Los Angeles Police Department said about 45 minutes after the reports sparked chaos at the airport. The spokesman also added that nobody was injured.

Earlier, Los Angeles International Airport was partially closed due to unconfirmed reports about the shooting. The police of the airport inspects air harbor area.
