The trailer of Caravan 1915, which denies the Armenian Genocide and presents the 1915s as a general tragedy, has appears on the web. Ismail Gunes, the Turkish director who shot the movie, noted that his movie does not try to show if there took place a genocide or not, but rather tells a story about a coachman who was commissioned to move 200 Armenians to Aleppo, who were living in Giresun. The coachman "devotedly" defends the Armenians "entrusted " to him from the attacks of bandits.
He said, that the heroes of the movie become witnesses of massacre at different places on their way from Giresun to Aleppo. Caravan 1915 will go on the movie theaters in Turkey on October 7. Among others, an Armenian actress Rosa Hovhannisyan stars the movie. Suren Asatryan is the director of music.
