Economic matters will dominate on the agenda of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Prime Ministers’ meeting, which is slated for October 28 in Minsk, CIS Executive Committee Chairman Sergei Lebedev informed, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

At present, meeting of the CIS permanent plenipotentiary representatives is conducted in the Belarusian capital city. They  are discussing the agenda of the above-said meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council.

“They are proposing to include many issues,” Lebedev on Tuesday told reporters in Minsk. “First and foremost, of economic nature.”

In his words, the CIS financial and economic conference also will be held along with the abovementioned CIS Prime Ministers’ meeting.

Armenia is also a CIS member country.
