YEREVAN. - The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is most interested in fair and transparent elections.
The Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly (NA) Eduard Sharmazanov, who is also the Spokesperson for the RPA, told the aforementioned to journalists after the RPA Executive Body meeting on Thursday.
In his words, the meeting addressed the launch of the NA session, as well as inter-political and inter-party issues.
“A historical event took place two days ago: the opposition and the authorities re-signed the memorandum on electoral reforms. We must do our best for our society to have a high opinion of the results of the parliamentary elections in 2017,” Sharmazanov said. He also added that thanks to the gentleman agreement the authorities actually did so that the opposition got satisfied with the changes.
