Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili received Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

Saakashvili and Mammadyarov discussed the issues regarding bilateral cooperation. The Georgian President expressed satisfaction with relations’ dynamics, adding that friendship and cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Georgian nations is exemplary.

The sides also touched upon implementation of joint projects and expressed confidence they would be completed successfully.

The Georgian President and Azerbaijani FM also discussed strategic issues regarding regional security.
