YEREVAN. – A son of the former rector of the Pedagogical University of Gyumri, mayor candidate from  “Prosperous Armenia” party  Vardan Grigoryan died from a gunshot wound in Gyumri.

The Armenian police confirmed information about the incident reporting that now law enforcement authorities are working at the scene, and an investigation is underway.

The victim is the youngest son of Vardan Grigoryan, Arshak. The young man was 22 years old.
