YEREVAN. – Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan on Tuesday received Colonel John Keosaian, an Armenian veteran of the United States Air Force.
Ohanyan highly appreciated Keosaian activities and efforts toward preserving and developing Armenian culture in the US, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
At the request of the guest, the acting defense minister spoke about the ongoing reform in the Armed Forces of Armenia, and the cooperation projects with various Diaspora-Armenian organizations.
The interlocutors underscored the need to focus on the efforts toward achieving Armenian national unity, instilling patriotism among Armenian youth, and strengthening army-society ties in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), and Armenian diaspora.
