YEREVAN. - The Government of Armenia proposes to facilitate the process of holding auctions for the state land property.

This proposal has been included in the draft Land Code of Armenia. The draft was submitted for adoption in the second and final reading on Tuesday.

Under the current edition of the Code, the auction shall be considered invalid if nobody or only one bidder claims for the land. Now the presence of one bidder will already be sufficient.
