An Armenian woman died on Wednesday as a result of a rocket attack by terrorists on the Armenian-settled Suleymaniye district in Aleppo.

The woman was Sevan Atat, born in 1969, reports the Syrian-based Gandzasar newspaper.

Overall, 60-70,000 Armenians resided in Syria prior to the bloody events. More than half of them lived in Aleppo, the other half being scattered in the cities of Latakia, Homs, Qamishli, Hasaka, Raqqah, Kessab and the capital Damascus.
