YEREVAN. - Armenian Premier Karen Karapetyan on Friday received the President and Chairman of VTB 24 bank Mikhail Zadornov.

The Premier welcomed the ambitious and diverse programs implemented by the bank in the financial market of Armenia. He stressed that the country’s Government is making consistent steps towards ensuring favorable business environment. According to Karapetyan, as a result of constructive changes, the executive, with the help of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, is going to create a relevant platform for the business sector to include and implement new programs.

The Premier also noted that the Ministry will in the future draw out and offer to the outside world a package of investment projects with feasibility studies. Appreciating the readiness of the bank administration to support the investment programs in the business area of Armenia, Karapetyan noted that relevant feedback is needed for the incentives of the business sector.

For his part, Zadornov noted that the bank has multi-lateral programs and is going to expand its activity in different areas of the country's economy. Underscoring the importance of creating a favorable business environment, the VTB 24 bank President expressed conviction that the Government will come up with more flexible approaches in the economic sphere, this being in line with the investors' interests.

Zadornov stressed that the bank will also consider the possibility to implement additional programs of mutual interest in separate branches of economy.  

Apart from this, Karapetyan and Zadornov touched on the activity of VTB bank and discussed different investment programs.
